SAHS Class of 1976

We entered St Anthony's High School on September 6, 1972 as the Freshman class. Our Graduation, 6pm June 3, 1976, was still a lifetime away. For then, we were filled with excitement and/or anxiety. What time is my bus, where is my locker, what was my combination again, how do I get from A10 to D12...our world centered on the answers to these questions! In the cafeteria at lunch we found out we weren't alone. Soon our discussions of anxiety made way for how I spent my summer vacation, who was dating who and who else had Spanish I. Things were easier then, as our Head of Maintenance also drove the school bus and your future success over the next four years was dependent on the reputation of an older sibling.
